Knyew Basic Bar

The other day I had the pleasure of stopping by the NYLV studio to style and shoot some of their new cuts from their basic bar collection , Knyew has always been known for their impeccable fit E-elongated tees for years now and if you happen to  be lucky enough to have one you'd probably understand the quality comparison from a regular mall copped Scoop tee to a Knyew Scoop tee. On top of that the brand has a devotion to keep all production and design within the US giving the quality of their collections a more LUX affordable impression to buyers not only in the US but internationally  . be sure to stop by their site are see their new variations of cuts from Scoop tees + HI-LOs and of course my favorite Perfecto cut .

Urban Outfitters Under 100$ Outfit Challenge

So lately I've been getting a lot of questions on how I afford such expensive things and if money defines success . and to answer the question from my perspective I would say NO . now a lot of people would disagree but in response my journey would be my argument . To be clear  I wasn't brought up in a wealthy family nor did I ever get spoiled and pampered by my mother. However she did instill HUSTLE into my DNA . She made me understand that nothing in this world is going to be given to you without work , passion intellect and  drive .

So to answer all my readers question, most of my clothing isn't even expensive ! it's truly all about the styling and being a strategic smart shopper that's balling on a budget . to give you guys an example of what I'm talking about I decided to start a fun series  on my site which I hope to continue when I relaunch my youtube channel Called BALLING ON A BUDGET showing you guys how easy it is to get a killer looking without putting a hole in your pocket .

Let me know If you guys would like me to continue this series  . ( Whole look is linked with prices below

Remainning  Spiritually grounded in this industry

It's funny how I decided to write this post at this particular time but I thought it would be different yet perfect for some of my readers , Because I've always believed Career driven progression is just as vital and Spiritual evolution . If you've been following me for sometime you would have realized my year long break last  year from blogging , Modeling and working with brands. Now to say the least this had to be one of the most Organic changes I've ever experienced in my life . It was almost as if the universe was like " Yo you're really good at what you're doing and I see you but lets go DEEPER"

Around Winter of 2015 I was having tremendous amounts of spiritual awakenings that I had no knowledge of such as Clairvoyance , Lucid dreaming and OBE in meditation. Aside from that I was beginning to see the ugly side of the industry ..... Egos , Judgment, control and of course Attachments . By the Time that was all on my plate i had already dismissed Blogging , Modeling Collaborating with brands . Not because I hated it but truly just because the universe wanted me to understand and realize my purpose and value being here,  alive ...RIGHT NOW

When it came down to it when I should have been answering emails and editing I was instead either meditating or reading book after book after book . From Self-Transformation books to Chakra books , all the way down to Quantum Mechanic books . My brain was definitely a sponge and the universe was my library and outlet to spiritual intellect. After months of solitude and incubation I began to realize that what I was doing (Blogging , modeling and consulting) was what I loved and it genuinely made me happy . but I had to step back and see my vibrational frequency wasn't balanced enough to see pass and know there is more beyond this Material realm

Having taken that time out and just recently coming back . I feel not only stronger with what I'm doing . but I feel I have a clear concise vision on where I want to be . So Honestly I would say it's all about balance. This industry is amazing and can be used for self expression and an outlet for creativity . but this isn't all there is ...... Start to look within .... Who are you ? . Don't feel guilty on taking breaks sometimes it needed . How is what youre doing today serving your soul

It's almost a no brainer what the typical bloggers closet looks like during the summer . Vibrant colors , tropical prints , sandals and of course Aviators . unfortunately for me I missed the memo... Oops . I find it very hard  adapting to the summer , seeing how I live in probably one of the most hottest states in the US . In addition to being a November baby, Summer is just not for me . But like everyone else there is no way of running from it you either adapt or just go full on Hermit  mode all 3-4 months .

So this Summer I want to do a fun spin on Summer looks , with lighter tones , Solid palettes and a lot of wanderlust 90's sunnies . This just goes to show you that Clean, minimal Summer looks are definitely manageable in the summer time regardless of what area you may be . Here's to pure Saturdays !

Time and Millinnelas

Well Goodbye Vegas and Hello LA .... for two days . yup, you heard it I'm finally heading back home for some meetings , and a exciting collaboration that I'm excited to share with you guys and of course spending time with the family . My baby sister is finally graduating High school and is heading to Arizona for College !  WOW it seems like just yesterday we were walking to and from school and  jumping the walls to get back home aha . It's kind of crazy how time can just fly by within a blink of an eye .

my whole life I've always been so frustrated on where I seen myself and trying to find out why I wasn't where I wanted to be already . and I think a lot of us driven millennials are like this.. .. we are so caught up on the idea of the future that we're not really appreciating the journey and the fight it takes to get to our dreams and accomplishments ( which sucks because we're not really enjoying the "growing up" part of life ) . I read somewhere awhile back that  " the worst thing you can do in your 20's is think you'll have all your shit together " . Every time I read that it's kind of a release because I think this generation was the generation of technology . which gives us an even more broader outlet for success and the idea of it . We see that technology and the internet has the ability to give us a more convenient route towards being our own bosses , starting a business or an app , connecting and sharing our life's with others and of course connecting and collaborating with people across the world with just a click and a swoosh of the finger .  I mean that's pretty awesome to think right ? but also I think it could be why we're so impatient and why we beat ourselves up on why we aren't where we picture ourselves at the moment .

Overtime though I've learned to just look back and see how far you've come at such a young age . You definitely weren't where you are now 2-3 years ago without  that drive and inspiration that you still have til this day . My best advice is keep killing it , stay consistent and always work on being a better you daily !
